A good understanding of audio is crucial to any multimedia work. Remember—audio is more than 50% of the experience! You can get away with filming a movie on a cheap camera, but you cannot get away with having bad audio. After all, we process language with our ears, not our eyes.

This epsiode of On The Ground was one of the most challenging to produce during my time at the Department of Resources, but it’s also the one I’m most proud of. Hopefully it goes some way to explaining just how complex the issues and functions of Native Title are.

This Cycle Has Charm
—We Set Sail
“Punk rock ruined my life.” It continues to do so, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Ben is part of We Set Sail, and we are the production team (with James Jackson at the controls and responsible for the amazing recording and mixing) behind the 2021 double LP, Ritual and Ceremony. Ben’s role is in playing the drums, handling management, label duties, promo, and production of things like merchandise and vinyl.
