Reduce training risk and ramp people up faster with VR simulations.

We design and build immersive training for energy, manufacturing, utilities and construction so teams can practise critical skills in a safe, repeatable way.

Who this is for

  • HSE managers who need fewer incidents and safer behaviours

  • L&D teams focused on retention, assessment and consistency

  • Operations managers wanting faster onboarding across sites and shifts

  • RTOs and training providers looking to modernise course delivery

Typical use cases include new-starter onboarding, high-risk procedures, emergency response and rare-but-critical events that are difficult or costly to practise in the real world.

Problems we solve

Too risky or expensive to train in the real world

Live equipment, remote sites and hazardous environments make practice hard. VR lets people learn procedures and decision-making without danger, downtime or travel.
Outcome: fewer incidents and safer behaviours before anyone steps on site.

Traditional training isn’t sticking

Slide decks and toolboxes are easy to forget. VR is hands-on and memorable, helping learners retain steps and make better choices under pressure.
Outcome: higher retention and better real-world performance.

Inconsistent training across sites and shifts

Different trainers and conditions lead to uneven skills. VR delivers the same standard every time, with data to prove it.
Outcome: measurable, consistent competency across the organisation.

How VR training works

  1. Discover
We map your learning goals, risks and operating context. Together we pick a pilot scenario with clear success measures.

  2. Design
Storyboards, interactions and assessments are planned with your SMEs. We design for short, focused sessions that fit real work.

  3. Build
We create the 3D environments, logic and assessments, then test with your team on Meta Quest headsets (and PC VR if required).

  4. Deploy
We package the training with simple setup guides, analytics, and optional LMS integration (SCORM/xAPI). Updates and new modules can be added over time.

Training scenarios we build

Hazard identification and safety walkthroughs

Spot hazards, follow procedures and practise safe behaviours in realistic environments.
Examples: switchyard walk-throughs, confined-space prep, pre-start inspections.

Procedural training and checklists

Learn step-by-step tasks with prompts, timers and error handling built in.
Examples: lockout/tagout, isolation sequences, startup/shutdown procedures.

Equipment operation and maintenance

Operate tools and plant with correct order, torque, sequencing and PPE.
Examples: valve operations, lift planning, routine maintenance checks.

Soft skills and customer interactions

Practise difficult conversations and service scenarios with branching outcomes.
Examples: safety leadership chats, customer service at the counter, incident reporting.

Results and ROI

VR helps teams learn by doing—safely, consistently and at lower total cost:

  • Faster time-to-competency through repeated, on-demand practice

  • Improved retention and decision-making under pressure

  • Reduced travel, downtime and trainer time

  • Objective assessment data you can track over time

Delivery and support

We handle everything end-to-end: content design, scripting, 3D production, development, testing, deployment and headset setup. After launch, we support updates, add new scenarios and help you scale from a single pilot to a full training library.

  • Works on Meta Quest headsets (and PC VR if needed)

  • Optional LMS integration and analytics

  • Clear documentation and simple roll-out for sites and shifts

  • Flexible support plans and module roadmaps

FAQs

How long does a VR training module take to build?

Most pilots take 6–12 weeks depending on complexity, number of scenarios and access to subject-matter experts. Larger programs are staged to deliver value early, then expand.

Do we need our own VR headsets?

We can advise on suitable headsets, help you procure them, or work with your existing fleet. We provide setup guides and support so sites can get started quickly.

Can VR training connect to our LMS or competency system?

Yes. We support exportable reports and, where appropriate, SCORM/xAPI integration.

How do you measure whether VR training is working?

We capture completion data, assessment scores, step timing and error types. We also gather manager and learner feedback after field deployment to refine content.

Is VR training suitable for older or non-technical staff?

Yes. Sessions are short and guided with clear prompts. We design for minimal buttons and provide quick onboarding inside the headset.
